Meet the Team

Steven Woodcock

Life at Home originates from Steven and Julie’s experiences in finding care for their own mothers, who both suffered with dementia.

Noticing a lack of compassionate care within the domiciliary care sector, Steven founded Life at Home, aiming to provide an excellent standard of care for his own mum and ultimately for the local community. While a Director of a not-for-profit day centre, Steven gained an insight into the struggles of family members who were also trying to find adequate home-based care for their loved ones. He is now the Managing Director of Life at Home.

Julie Stacey

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, Senior Carer and eventually Manager of a Day Centre for 10 years, Julie has a wealth of experience and an understanding of the shortcomings of the sector. She noticed the inadequacy of allocated time and the lack of personalized support that most care companies were providing. She joined Steven in founding the company and is now the Manager.

Life at Home became a shared vision of providing a compassionate, personalized home support service. Our ethos is to allow clients to experience the benefits of continuing to live in their own homes while relieving the stress and worry of their support and wellbeing on their families and friends.
